Our second day in Perth went by pretty leisurely. We stopped by Westfield Carousel for lunch and did some grocery shopping. As the night came by, we ate in and celebrated my mom’s Birthday together at home. Seen above is a group photo of us right after the birthday song.
Just before dinner, we dropped by The Cheesecake Shop at Victoria Park to kick in the Birthday mood by getting ourselves a birthday cake. Above is a picture of our Coffee Pecan Torte which we finally got after very much contemplation of which cake was to be chosen.
Soon after, the cheerful sounds of “Happy Birthday” was heard. This picture was taken during the singing; as the surrounding was dark, the only visible thing was the lit candles of the cake.
After the celebration, birthday mom was honoured with the cake cutting procession. Numbering a crowd of 6, there was more than enough cake slices to go around.
