Last night, a group of young and enlighten souls gathered at Jon Wong’s humble holy home to celebrate this years’ Christmas as a church cell group together. Each of us cell members were encouraged to have a friend or two to tag along to this event.
Despite some unfortunate turn downs from several friends for the night’s event, the attendance for this event was still rewarding. We came together numbering a crowd of 70+.
THE FEAST
Our first agenda for the night was “Gorging in”. Being a crowd of 70, we needed food! In fact, plentiful food! And there we were, with a King’s feast! After having patiently practice our civil courtesy by following in line to get our food, everyone disembarked from the “buffet line” and form clans around Jon’s house. Pitiful me in my new stiff jeans, I had to crawl and creep through the crowd to capture the happy moments. See below several group photos taken during dinner.
THE PEOPLE
THE GAMES
Next in the following, the organizers got us all to gather at the hall, for the games to commence. The games substantially made the night merrier. It allowed friends of different friends to get to know one another, and bond a new friendship. It was an atmosphere of absolute togetherness.

GIFT EXCHANGE
After the games, it was time for the gift exchange ceremony. We had to hilariously pass our presents to the left and right randomly upon the every “left” and “right” statement made in a short story read out by Jon and Delaine. Which ever present that ended up in our hands at the end of the story, was eventually rightfully ours.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING
Approaching the closure of this xmas gathering, Vincent and Charisse led us all to sing in unison a few Christmas songs, reminding ourselves of the joy of this day for which the Lord was born.

It was a wonderful and eventful night. I believe that we had successfully reach real far out last night, and may we all pray that miracles will continue to happen.
Wishing all a merry jolly Christmas!
